Sunflower cottage is set in the middle of a traditional Bulgarian village , the cottage is name after the beautiful sun flower fields surrounded the traditional working village , the village consists of old stone houses , which once was a busy centre for young and old containing bars and black smiths and even a library with cinema in the communist times where the local people used to meet , and never really needed to leave the village , after the communist time the local rural factory was closed down the library books were burned in the central of the village and they left leaving the local people to survive and live of the land with their traditional skill which have not changed for centuries . The sea is only 10 km away which you can mix with the natural beauty of the village and trips to the surrounding areas and natural untouched areas of Bulgaria. This area is differently not for the load music and night clubs, but is fantastic for a quiet family holiday with b, b, qs beach parties and local colour.
The house has been modernised to a very good standard with one on sweet bath room, and one family bathroom. Three bed rooms, one double bed and four single beds with in this area. kitchen and table area and living area just of from the kitchen with TV and , DVD .And also with internet access and parking area to the side of the house . The out side of the cottage has a beautiful shaded grape-vine area with lovely wooden sitting and table and sun bed and bbq to boot . All great for a family holiday all you need to do is do your shopping and even that can be provided even just with a starter packs until you find your feet . Which can be provided on request? When staying in the house there are contacts with in the village English-speaking and will be pleased to help with any thing on staying in the house . |

Shabla (Bulgarian: Шабла) is a town and seaside resort in northeastern Bulgaria, administrative centre of the homonymous municipality part of Dobrich Province. As of December 2009, the town has a population of 3,586 inhabitants.[1] It is situated on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast in the vicinity of the salt-water Lake Shabla and Bulgaria's easternmost point, Cape Shabla.
Shabla has an extensive white sand beach and was a popular destination for Eastern Bloc tourism until the fall of Communism. The beach itself is located some 5 km from the town (shuttle service in summer) via a road constructed under the EU Phare programme [2]
On the main town beach there is a large car park and many old bungalows next to a large restaurant that serves today's tourists in the summer months.
Another route leads you to the coastal road and past Shabla's lighthouse which is the tallest, oldest and easternmost one on the Bulgarian coast. Set among the ruins of the 4th-century fortress, it was built in its modern appearance during the Crimean War and opened on 15 July 1856, though it is in fact a reconstructed older lighthouse built between 1756 and 1786.[3] Its tower is 28.23 m-tall.
The next village along this route and moving South is Tyulenovo and the start of the rocky coast and high cliffs that stretch through Kamen Bryag to the small bay of Kavarna.
Shabla in antiquity was an ancient Thracian settlement founded 6th-5th century BC and known by the Greek name of Karon Limen (Carian Bay) that grew into a Black Sea port in Roman times. The town flourished in the early years of the Byzantine Empire, a fortress still being preserved from the period (4th century). During Ottoman rule it was known as Karamanly
