Our almost unique situation is suitable for all age groups with easy access to miles of golden sandy beaches of the Costa Nova and Barra, woodland walks, sightseeing at Porto, Coimbra, Viseu and Aveiro, spectacular scenery, good fishing or total relaxation by the pool set in its own private gardens. The two chalet apartments each sleep 4-6 and there is a double insulated connecting door between for larger parties of up to 12 people.Each chalet apartment consists of one double, one twin bedroom, both with en-suite and a double sofa-bed in lounge/diner area which also incorporates a modern and fully equipped kitchen, with the additional bonus of washing machine.We provide all bed linen and towels (except beach towels).Because we adopt an honesty policy here there is no requirement for our guests to bring anything other than their personal clothing and toiletries - the honesty policy is: all coffee, tea, sauces, washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc. are provided, but if any item runs out or is low prior to departure, just replace that one item with a similar product. Each chalet apartment includes UK electrical adaptors, a hair dryer and safe, games, books and a variety of outside activity games. We also provide free-to-view UK TV and wire-less computer connectivity for your laptop with broadband by hiring the WLAN card for a small fee. The outside leisure activities include a 10m x 5m salt water swimming pool with an overall 1.2m depth, suitable for all age groups. The pool is heated with a telescopic cover for the autumn and winter months. Each chalet apartment has a large patio with gas BBQ, and appropriate furniture. We also provide outdoor and pool games. There is a large garden area, with maturing fruit trees, salad garden and strawberries when in season, and easy access to all woodland in a safe, secure and friendly environment. |

Our nearest town, Albergaria a Velha, is a 10 minute drive away, but there are plenty of mini-markets, cafes and restaurants within a few minutes drive. Golf at Montebelo and Curia Golf Course. Coimbra, Porto and Viseu are all within an easy 35-45 minute drive, with availability also of adventure activities, water sports, horse-riding and go-karting nearby.
