Description: Between Estoi and Moncarapacho we built our dreamhouse in a quite and very private location The kitchen is fully fitted and we have 3 double bedded bedrooms. The living contains a fireplace and is very comfortable. Several outside covered and uncovered terracces plus outside bbq The garden is developped and in the middle we built a pool of 12 mtrs x 6 mtrs. The plot is 5000 mtrs Serra do Lobo lies off-the-beaten-track between Esto� and Moncarapacho. It is a large, well equipped, modern villa with huge pool which is ideal for families with 2 to 4 children - and you can even bring the dog ! Close to the charming village of Esto�, you can explore the Roman ruins at Milreu and the Esto�'s 'Pink Palace'. To the north, you have S�o Br�s and the hills, and just 20 minutes drive to the south, the coastal towns of Fuzeta and Olh�o and Faro, with access to their fabulous, long, white sand beaches. A great location for a family get-away Further information What is the accommodation like ? The house is arranged on two floors and is bright and spacious throughout. On the upper floor, there is a large twin room with fitted wardrobe, a shower room with handbasin and WC, and a further, good-sized twin room with hand basin and fitted wardrobes. On the lower floor, there is a double bedroom with fitted wardbrobe and sliding glass doors to the outside patio area. Adjacent to the double bedroom is a large bathroom with bath/shower, WC, double hand basin and washing machine. There is a further WC with hand basin adjacent to the bathroom. The rest of the lower floor is a large, 'L'-shaped, open-plan area comprising dining area, lounge - with satellite TV - and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with: dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. What outside spaces and facilities are there ? At the front of the house is a large patio area with shaded parking space. At the 'back' of the house - where you will actually be - the kitchen/lounge opens out onto a large terrace area with outside dining table and chairs, which overlooks the pool and has nice views north to the hills. The huge pool - 12 x 6 m and 1.30 - 2.45 m deep - is on a large, lower terrace and garden area, accessed from the upper terrace by a flight of steps. On which day(s) can we arrive/leave ? In principle, you can arrive and leave on any day, but we do have to fit bookings closely together. For how long can we stay ? You can stay for any number of nights above a minimum of seven. Prices are pro-rata per day. How private is the house ? The back terrace and pool area are not overlooked from any other houses and the surrounding land is predominantly agricultural. How close are the nearest food shops ? The nearest food shops are at Esto�, 3 km away, where there is also a small daily fruit, veg and fish market. There are good small supermarkets in Moncarapacho (10 minutes drive away) and big supermarkets on the outskirts of both Faro and S�o Br�s (15 minutes drive away). How close is the nearest restaurant ? The nearest restaurant is only 1 km away and is a very high class gourmet restaurant of a small country hotel. More down to earth (and cheaper) restaurants are available close by at Esto�, Moncarapacho and S�o Br�s. How close is the nearest beach ? The nearest beach is at Fuzeta (20 minute drive, plus short boat trip), and Faro (20 minute drive). What is there to do at Serra do Lobo ? You are in the country in a well-equipped house with huge pool, best suited to those who can make their own entertainment. The house is well situated as a base from which to explore the eastern Algarve, and within easy reach of the motorway if you want to explore further afield. Do we need to hire a car ? Yes.
