The rear garden area has a 9 metre stone threshing circle, which is a great place to relax, read a book, sunbath or BBQ (provided). Because of its elevated position you can enjoy far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. There is also a circular above ground 4.5mt (90cm deep) pool and a toddlers paddling pool. |

The cottage is ideally situated for a relaxing break or for exploring the many and varied places of interest to visit in central Portugal. There are many mountain bike and hiking routes in the area, lakes for the fishing enthusiast, horse riding, canoeing and surfing within a 45 min. drive. Numerous places of interest including castles, monuments, various local fiestas, free internet use in town, shops, restaurants, bars and cinema (often showing films in English). An indoor swimming pool is situated in Ansiao and an aquapark in Pombal, only twenty minutes drive. Weekly market on Saturday morning and tourist information office.
