Description: This superb, brand new first floor apartment overlooks the pool and 16th fairway of the Hacienda Riquelme golf resort - the fourth complex to be built by Polaris World.
Hacienda Riquelme is a luxury golf resort built by Polaris World and is a low density construction, consisting of low rise apartments structured around a stunning 18 hole, par 72 golf course designed by the world famous golfer Jack Nicklaus. Away from the course you can explore the resorts town centre which is built around the old Hacienda. The Hacienda was the home of the Riquelme Family, descendants of Guillen Riquelme, a noble knight who accompanied King Alfonso the Learned on his conquest of Murcia. It is in the process of being carefully restored and will maintain the balance between its romantic past and modern future.
The complex, which is fully enclosed with secure gated access, is situated just outside the small Spanish town of Sucina in the Murcia region of Spain. This area of Spain has its own micro climate providing fantastic playing conditions and allowing year round golf. A short drive will take you to coast of the Mar Menor or "Little Sea" This area has many picturesque coastal towns which are well worth a visit.
Hacienda Riquelme is not just for golfers though! The apartment provides a great base if you are looking to explore this wonderful area of Spain, or just looking to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist resorts.
The apartment is situated on the first floor, with fantastic views both front and back, has lift access and secure underground parking. There is full air conditioning and central heating for your all year round comfort. It consists of 2 bedrooms, which can be made up as doubles or singles, 1 bathroom, lounge/diner and fully equiped kitchen. There is also a good sized balcony which has the sun on it during the morning providing the setting for a very relaxing breakfast!
The lounge has two comfortable 2 seater sofas, large coffee table and a flat screen TV with a good selection of DVDs and CDs. Patio doors lead off the lounge to the balcony. The dining area has a quality suite and the table can be extended to provide plenty of space if you choose to entertain!
Both the bedrooms have quality beds and both having great views towards the mountains. There is a safe in the master bedroom which can be personally coded.

The Murcia Region experiences one of the greatest yearly number of sunny days with an average temperature of 21º C and has a shoreline in excess of 200 Km over two seas - the Mar Minor, or ''Little Sea'', and the Mediterranean. The La Manga coastal strip almost closes off the Mar Minor from the Mediterranean making it Europes largest salt water lake. Its temperature can be 5º C warmer than that of the Med! This makes it ideal for water sports such as wind surfing, kite surfing and dinghy sailing as well as swimming. Travel a short distance inland and you have the Sierra Espuna and Cresta de Gallo. These forested, mountain areas are ideal for outdoor activites such as walking, mountain biking, rock climbing and horse riding. This really is a region of great contrast with high mountain national parks, southern basins and fantastic beaches.
The University City of Murcia, which lies on the river Segura, is described as one of the most beautiful and historic in the country and has a rich cultural heritage - the breathtaking Cathederal, completed in the 18th century, in the main square being the focal point. Murcia also has a variety of museums, from art to archeology as well as a fantastic selection of shops. The evening makes way for a vibrant, cosmopoloten nightlife, where bars, cafes and resturants buzz with an intoxicating atmosphere. Other cities worth visiting are the port of Cartagena with its Roman ampitheatre and the medieval castles of Lorca and Mula.
Away from the coast you will find over thirty museums, twenty two castles and the remains of fortresses. With the wonderful, varied festivals occurring throughout the year and numerous markets seducing you into this fantastic way of life, this completes the regions appeal.
