Casa Carlina
A new 2 bedroom luxury apartment in Albufeira Village - the newest addition to the ever popular Club Albufeira resort. The village is typically Portuguese consisting of traditional white walled two story buildings surrounded by beautifully landscaped lawns and gardens. Just a minute from the front door and you're at the pool area with a separate safe pool for children, a bar serving snacks and a children's play area. Casa Carlina is a spacious, air conditioned first floor apartment. It has a superb south facing lounge with cable TV and dining area that opens onto a secluded balcony ideal for red wine and olives in the evening. The kitchen is fitted with all the gadgets to allow you to eat in if you wish, and there is a utility room with washing facilities - ideal for young families. The master bedroom has an en suite with a jacuzzi and the second bedroom has two single beds. A sofa in the lounge converts to another bed. If you're driving, you can park the car right outside.
Albufeira Village and Club Albufeira facilities
There are three large pool areas in the resort. Each of these has a safe, separate pool for children and larger varying depth pools for adults. Each pool area has bars serving drinks and snacks. The pool closest to Casa Carlina is about one minute's walk from the front door, and is situated close to a children's play area with swings and slides. The resort has a restaurant 'O Pavillhao' that serves really good food including barbecues and has live entertainment in the evenings during the high season. The resort also has tennis courts and mini golf. There is a main reception desk where the friendly multi lingual staff will help you book tours, taxis, airport transfers, golf tee times and just about anything else you might need. There is a free shuttle bus that runs between reception and Albufeira old town - about a 5 minute drive. The resort has a local shop that sells most of the essentials that you'll need, so if you just want to chill out you can.
Golf in the Algarve
The Algarve has some exceptional golf courses, and we realise that many of our guests will be looking to play a round or two. Casa Carlina is centrally situated so it is a short drive east to the courses of Vilamoura and a shorter drive west to the courses of Carvoeiro. There are two nine hole courses in Albufeira itself, as well as an 18 hole par 72 course. The staff at the reception desk will be happy to arrange tee times and transport if required, and discounts are available on many of the courses. For mixed parties the apartment location is ideal - drop the non-golfers off in Albufeira town for the day whilst the golfers go on to the course. Meet up in the late afternoon for a Sangria overlooking Fisherman's Beach and then back to Casa Carlina to get ready for the evening.

Casa Carlina is just a couple of minutes away from Albufeira old town with its quaint narrow streets that lead you down to the famous Fisherman's Beach. A little further on and you get to 'The Strip' between Montechoro and Ouro beach. This is the centre for lively nightlife with bars, restaurants, clubs and loads of people - a real buzz. Just outside of Albufeira there are some fantastic secluded beaches that we've visited, along with romantic restaurants, artisan shops and you've even got Cliff Richards vineyard just down the road! For our younger guests the Aqua land water park and Zoomarine are both well worth a visit. For those who like shopping the Algarve Shopping Centre with its massive hypermarket and numerous designer outlets is about 10 minutes away by car. Further afield you might try a visit to Carvoeiro with it's postage stamp beach and fishing boats for grilled sardines or perhaps a trip into the mountains to the spa at Monchique for chicken piri-piri!
