Area information:	LA ISLA DEL CONDADO: A RESORT IN THE MIDDLE OF A LAKE Water is the main feature in La Isla del Condado. It surrounds the Resort which is located in the middle of the central lake, “El Gran Lago”, in Condado de Alhama. This island resort can only be entered via a bridge and access control point.The properties on La Isla are set in tailor-made surroundings, with a central boulevard incorporating green areas, children's play areas and parking. There is also a path which runs round the island and leads to the swimming pools and ample terraces. The exceptional Alhama Best Golf is an 18 hole, par 72 course and is the Principal Signature course designed by Jack Nicklaus himself for Polaris World. It features sharp changes in elevation and four lakes and is one of the most attractive courses in the whole of Spain. The apartment is among the closest (5 min. walk) to the fantastic town centre (Al Kazar) which presently houses the large supermarket and Clover Bar, with a beautifully furnished outdoor seating area overlooking the central feature pool. 2 Restaurants are now also open for business: LIMONERO – serves a variety of rice dishes all cooked over an open fire, and traditional paella.
